Elders Project - Plummers House Residents

Some of our residents have been involved in the Elders Project with Mac - Birmingham.

The year-long Elders project, a partnership between MAC and the Black Arts Forum, has provided creative opportunities for Elders across Aston and Newtown, in a bid to combat loneliness and isolation.

Funded by Birmingham City Council and Arts Council England, participants enjoyed music, movement, storytelling, visual arts and well-being sessions with local artists.

Last week some of our residents at Plummers House visited The Mac to attend an event showcasing the different activities they have been involved in with The Elders Project.

Some of the activities are residents were involved in include drumming, and singing. Our residents were also presented with a certificate for participating at the end of the project.
