Nehemiah Housing Association is a progressive housing association with a portfolio of 1250 properties including 8 retirement schemes offering homes to multicultural communities across the West Midlands.

We are firmly embedded in the Church of God of Prophecy, and we specialise in providing high quality accommodation and support packages for elders from the BAME and wider community. The provision of good, affordable housing for families, couples and single people is the platform from which the association has committed itself to the community at large.

With more than 30 years’ experience, we are fully committed to serving the community and to creating a society in which people of all ethnic backgrounds feel valued and at home.

Our vision is to be the best BAME housing provider in the UK, delivering high quality homes together with a range of services to boost and support the local community.

We recognise the challenges that we and our tenants face and are determined to make the most of these challenges and opportunities through innovation and continuous improvement.

To achieve this and in line with our Board and Committee Succession Plan, we are seeking several members who have extensive knowledge of the social housing sector from a strategic level.
