Nehemiah Housing Association provides quality, affordable housing together with wellbeing services and support to ethnically diverse communities across the West Midlands.

We have more than 1,250 properties serving the multicultural African, Caribbean, Asian, Irish and European communities in Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.

With 35 years experience, we are fully committed to serving the community and to creating neighbourhoods in which people of all ethnic backgrounds feel valued and at home.

Our vision is to be the best black minority ethnic (BME) housing provider in the UK, delivering high quality homes together with a range of services to support the local community.

Customer Friendly And Focused

We provide homes for single people, couples, families, and the elderly, and aim to build successful, sustainable and diverse communities.

We greatly assist our tenants to find and maintain tenancies and are proud of the contribution we make in the prevention of homelessness in the West Midlands.

Providing both a customer-friendly and customer-focused service means we are responsive to the needs of our tenants, for example providing larger homes for those with extended families, and specially designed homes for individuals with disabilities or certain religious or cultural needs. We also provide energy efficient homes to minimise the impact of fuel poverty.

As a social landlord with a strong sense of community we provide support to our tenants in their own homes as well as in the local communities. Our local involvement includes being part of regeneration projects and encouraging enterprise to boost the local economy. We provide homes together with a range of support services to more than 4,000 people across the West Midlands region.
