Your Housing, Your Way

We understand our tenants have busy lives, which is why there are lots of different ways to get involved even from the comfort of their own homes.

With your input, suggestions and feedback, we can continue to improve the housing and services we provide for all our tenants – and create the supportive communities we’re proud of and happy to live in.

Get Involved For The Benefit Of All

There are many ways to get involved with Nehemiah and help to shape our future – and all on your terms. Not all the ideas below are in operation but we are happy to develop these further or introduce new ideas if you would like to suggest something.

We send out surveys and by completing our surveys, you help us to understand the areas we’re doing well and those that we need to improve.

This typically involves selecting topics for discussion and having the opportunity to ask questions regarding service delivery and to offer any suggestions for improvement, before producing an action plan for further enhancement to the service delivered. Some meetings are held online and some are in person. The Tenant Scrutiny panel recently took part in our Tenants Conference, they have reviewed our latest policies and suggested changes, they helped to shape our Corporate Strategy, our marketing communications strategy and our tenant engagement policy.

You could mystery shop our services by phone and then let us know how we’re doing and the areas in need of improvement. If this is something you would like to do speak to Marcia Cunnison our Community Partnership & Engagement Officer whose contact details below.

You could get involved in preparing, creating and contributing to the quarterly publication of our tenant newsletter – Under One Roof. You could also have an involvement into the review and introduction of materials and publications. There’s lots you can give your feedback on from the comfort of your home, from proofreading potential materials for tenants to check they’re easy to read and tenant friendly, through to reviewing publications and policies.
