New Repairs and Maintenance Contractors

Nehemiah Housing Association is pleased to announce a change of repairs and maintenance contractor and call centre, which takes place from Wednesday 13 September 2023.

Consultation with tenants and feedback on our existing repairs service informed our strategy to engage smaller local dedicated specialist home repairs and maintenance contractors who could make sure our tenants get an improved repairs service.

We have therefore decided to split the repairs and maintenance contract using two smaller local contractors covering the Birmingham, Coventry and Sandwell area and, the Dudley, Walsall, and Wolverhampton area.

Frontier Property Services will be covering the Birmingham, Coventry and Sandwell areas;whilst PR Builders; will be covering the Dudley, Walsall, and Wolverhampton areas.

Your new repairs and maintenance call centre will be taking calls on behalf of Nehemiah Housing 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week.

The great thing is, the number you call remains the same, from a landline 0800 849 1400 and from a mobile 030 30 30 1000.

When you call to book a repair, please remember to take a note of the repair reference number provided to you by the call handler, you may need this reference number for enquiries about your repair in future.

Please be rest assured that you will not experience any changes to your repairs and maintenance service during this period, and we remain committed to maintaining and improving the service we provide to you.

Measuring the success of the new service

Making sure everything goes smoothly with our new repairs and maintenance service is important. We will be tracking success by measuring key indicators like how many jobs get fixed first time, the quality of the jobs done and how satisfied tenants tell us they are with the work carried out.
