Let’s Pull Together For The Great British Spring Clean 2026!

We want as many of our tenants as possible to pull together, join in, and boost our sense of pride in our communities during this year’s Great British Spring Clean!

Taking place between the 13th and 29th March, the Great British Spring Clean is the perfect opportunity to all come together to keep our communities clean, safe and enjoyable for all.

What Is The Great British Spring Clean?

The Great British Spring Clean is Keep Britain Tidy’s national campaign to clean-up the country. Run every year since 2016, it is the largest mass-action environmental movement, dedicated to tidying up local areas across the nation – including Nehemiah’s communities.

Since 2016, people have pledged to pick up more than 4.5million bags of litter.

Driven by the belief that we all deserve to live in a community we can feel proud of, the Great British Spring Clean encourages everyone to join in with litter picking in their local area to make a real difference to their community.

What Will Nehemiah Do During The Great British Spring Clean 2026?

Throughout the Great British Spring Clean, 13th to 29th March, we encourage all our tenants to get involved – you could pledge to pick up a bag of litter or join us on our next estate walkabout, perhaps.

We’re committed to providing safe housing within supportive, clean communities. By all pulling together and being mindful of how we dispose of rubbish, taking part in a litter picking session, or being involved with a walkabout, we can ensure we remain proud of Nehemiah housing.

Ideas for boosting our shared spaces, include:

• Take part in litter picking during the Great British Spring Clean
• Arrange a litter picking session in your community
• Join us for an estate walkabout
• Be mindful when disposing of rubbish
• Use your local authority to get rid of large waste items
• Report any signs of fly tipping
• Use your local recycling centre whenever you can
