Nehemiah is about more than simply housing.

We exist to provide the very best for our tenants with comfortable, affordable housing that is built within supportive communities.

The services we provide ensure all our tenants are able to feel safe and cared for in their homes.

We couldn’t achieve this without you.

This is why we have lots of opportunities to get involved in your housing scheme and local area – whether that is to improve your neighbourhood, learn a new skill, form a new friendship, or for multiple reasons.

We engage with all our tenants in our housing schemes to ensure we can improve our services and help you gain new skills along the way.

Our tenants’ contributions are vital as they help us to improve all we do and to tailor our services to meet the needs of every tenant.

Do you want to get involved?

There are many different ways to get involved and it is up to you to decide the right way for you.

You can choose the level of commitment and whether you want to get involved in person or online or in written form – all input and involvement is welcome.

Why get involved?

It is straightforward to get involved.

We offer training and assistance where needed, as well as payment to cover any travel costs you incur or help to arrange transport. Getting involved offers fantastic opportunities to meet new people and make new friends, learn something new or develop a new skill, and make a difference to how your housing scheme and neighbourhood operate.

You can get involved in different ways and we are grateful for any time you can give. Maybe you would like to take part in person or you may prefer to complete one of our surveys or feedback requests – maybe you can commit to just a small amount of time or perhaps 2-3 hours every month. Every option is fantastic in our eyes.

Whichever way you choose to get involved and help us to grow, we welcome your input.

How do you want to get involved?

To make it easier for you to decide how you’d like to get involved, we have split the involvement opportunities into groups according to how you can take part – either in the community or from home by opting in or by being involved with our governance

We welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities and would love to hear from you. Whether you can help us as a one-off or would like to get involved on a regular basis, please get in touch and help to shape the future of Nehemiah housing and communities.
