Supporting Safeguarding Adults Week 2023

Posted on: 20 Nov 23

We are proud to support this year’s Safeguarding Adults Week, taking place between Monday 20th and Friday 24th November.

What Happens During Safeguarding Adults Week?

Safeguarding Adults Week is an opportunity for organisations and individuals to come together to highlight the importance of wellbeing for everyone – for yourself and others.

The week highlights the importance of identifying safeguarding issues and finding solutions. The campaign has been designed to start conversations and raise awareness of best practice for safeguarding.

During the week, there will be various online events and seminars that focus on a different safeguarding theme daily. Topics include how best to support the wellbeing of others and finding ways to encourage people to look after their own wellbeing.

You can find out more about the different activities running during Safeguarding Adults Week, and sessions can be booked online, here.

What Is Safeguarding?

Safeguarding is about protecting people, of having measures in place to care for the welfare and wellbeing of individuals.
