Our New Customer Engagement Strategy

Nehemiah Housing is thrilled to introduce its new Customer Engagement Strategy 2024 which is being implemented throughout this year and will form the core of all we do within – and for – our communities.

Our new strategy has been created with our tenants in mind – ultimately, it is a statement of our commitment to meeting our tenants’ needs, today and into the future.

We want to be the best social housing landlord we can be, which is why we continually strive to improve the experience for every tenant by ensuring there are lots of opportunities to have a say and shape our housing and communities.

From making it easy to stay connected with us via our multiple communication channels, social media platforms, and accessible Housing Officers and office staff, through to being fully accountable for our actions, we ensure that Nehemiah houses are comfortable, affordable and a positive place to live.

Feedback matters to us and we want to hear from everyone so that we can turn your views and opinions on the things that matter to you into action and change.

At Nehemiah, the past 4 decades have never simply been about providing homes for our tenants – we are a support and wellbeing provider. We are here to assist our tenants to secure and maintain their tenancies, to contribute to the prevention of homelessness, and to support our tenants with the provision of amenities and services that truly matter to them.

Our Customer Engagement Strategy is reviewed annually with our tenants – everything we do has customer commitment at its heart.

This year’s strategy encourages everyone to get involved whether for one hour or one day. There are so many different ways to have your say – from surveys and community events, through to review groups and social media platforms, we hope to connect with everyone in our Nehemiah community.

We are here for our tenants – always have been and always will be – and will continually strive to strengthen our relationship with tenants so that we can achieve the best possible housing and communities for our customers.
