Macmillan Coffee Mornings This September!

Posted on: 23 Sep 24

The official date for this year’s Macmillan Coffee Morning is 27th September, but we plan to host coffee mornings across our retirement schemes in September and October – so look out for further details on these.

Nehemiah is organising coffee mornings in various locations this autumn, to raise money to help individuals living with cancer and to support the great work Macmillan does. We will be inviting our residents in our retirement schemes to join our events and help make our coffee mornings a big fundraising success.

The first coffee morning was held on 24 September 2024 at our retirement scheme at Father Joe Taaffe House, Digbeth where we raised £184.71 so we have got off to a great start with our fundraising efforts this year.

Here are just a few of the photos from the Father Joe Taaffe House event.

We held another MacMillian Coffee morning at Nehemiah Court on 27 September. In total, we raised £52.61.

Join Us For Our Coffee Mornings

We would love as many of you as possible to join in and attend our coffee mornings, taking place during September and October. Our next Macmillan coffee mornings will be held at Woodside House on 3 October and Plummer House on Friday 4 October.

You can donate even if you can’t attend, to help us raise as much money as possible for Macmillan.

All funds raised help Macmillan to pay for its nurses, support line, financial support provision, and to continue supporting people living with cancer.

You can find out more about Macmillan’s Coffee Morning and ways to get involved, here.

Nehemiah Is Here To Help

We would love each and every retirement scheme community to come together and support our coffee mornings this autumn, so that we can raise as much money as possible for Macmillan.

You’re all welcome and we look forward to seeing you at one of our Macmillan Coffee Mornings soon.

For further information on our coffee mornings, you can contact your Housing Officer, or call us on 0121 358 0966 or email contact@nehemiah.co.uk and we will be happy to help.
